We develop innovative biopesticides for sustainable agriculture in collaboration with local and international experts.
AEF Global began its activities by developing and registering its own strain of Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki (Btk) around the turn of the 2000s. AEF also subsequently added two other active ingredients; one based on garlic and the other on organic acids, to develop several fungicides that have also been marketed for several years. The development was carried out entirely in Quebec province.
We conduct trials on our products internally, but also in collaboration with university research centers, government agencies, or independent consultants both in Canada and abroad.
As consumer demand shifts towards healthier food and environmental protection becomes a priority, producers will increasingly need effective, low-impact pesticides. These products must enable them to maintain and increase crop productivity with a focus on sustainable agriculture. Our ongoing R&D efforts aim to provide biopesticides that meet these growing needs.
